Purchased this for my granddaughter, she said it was a bit hard to comprehend, but she is young..it looked somewhat factual in regards to
"love"..i think she'll understand when she gets older..She wanted it because it was "twilight" related.

Female? You need this book!
I bought this as a stocking filler for my teenage daughter and I may as well have not bothered with the iPad. (It didn't come out of the box till she finished the book.) This is a harmonious and inspirational blend of self examination techniques, psychology and love tips, cleverly wrapped around the Twilight series.
Do you remember the Cathy and Clare page in the Jackie magazine? Louise Deacon must surely have had a hand in that and if she doesn't have her own problems page somewhere then that needs addressing.
As a single mother myself (where was Louise Deacon when I needed her?) I pored over the pages (in secret, obviously) and I reckon I am now set up to take on the dating sites. My Edward is out there (Jacob? Pah!) and, Deacon's bible my my side (in a brown wrapper, clearly), I am ready to roll.
Buy ten of these books and give them to your children, nieces, and god daughters. In fact, make it twenty because their mothers will steal them.
A cracking good read. And it might just change your life.

The deeper meaning behind the most popular romance book of our time

I read this book partly because I have always been interested in the popularity of romance, from Jane Austen to Mills & Boon. At aged 26 I thought that I would be immune to a young adult book about vampires (I was a fan of the L.J Smith Vampire Diaries books when I was 12 so this was nothing new) - but I was amazed by how quickly I devoured the Twilight books, and I was interested in what this book had to say. So many girls I know of all ages, including married women in their forties, had been sent similarly crazy.
Reading 'Twilight, True Love and You,' a few years later opened my eyes to the psychology behind what was going on. If anything I read it even quicker than the original Twilight books, and by the end instead of feeling resentful of my less-than-Twilight-perfect love life, it made me remember the original reasons I fell in love with my boyfriend. It's a funny, easy-to-read book with lots of serious, important messages and I can honestly say this book made me a happier and wiser person. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone.
